Combining the technology of the pH and EC (ppm) with another key factor, temperature. Temperature in the nutrient solution is overlooked and under estimated. As the nutrient solution reaches temperatures above 70° F (21° C) dissolved oxygen levels drop. In addition bacterial and fungal growth accelerates, depleting oxygen levels further. The solution becomes stagnant and root death begins. Too cool of a nutrient solution 62° F (16° C) or lower ca result in slow growth with poor nutrient uptake.
