Flora Liquid Nutrients No matter what kind of hydroponic system you are using or what kind of crop you are growing, the Flora series is the perfect nutrient to achieve superior results.
The concept behind the Flora series is simple. Different kinds of plants have significantly different nutrient needs, and these needs change during the plant's growth cycle. By using different combinations of FloraGro, FloraBloom and FloraMicro, the grower is able to fulfill the exact needs of the plant at each stage in its life cycle.
As a crop grows, the grower is able to precisely adapt the nutrient formulation to meet the crop's changing requirements.
General Hydroponics has further enhanced the Flora nutrients by including "submicro" trace elements, minerals needed but generally not supplied by other fertilizers. These include Cobalt (required for production of vitamin B-12), Nickel (required for enzyme formation), Silica (enhances plant strength and disease resistance), and other minerals utilized in tiny quantities for the production of hormones and plant enzymes. These are keys to enhancing flavor, nutrition, aroma and essential oils in plants.

When your water is not as pure as your plants would like.... - All water sources are not the same. Your water may appear clear, clean and fresh; but what's dissolved in it? Your water probably contains dissolved minerals and these can cause problems when fertilizers are added. - Many water supplies contain Calcium, and too much Calcium can cause nutrient "lock-out". - We are proud to offer our new "HardWater FloraMicro", specially formulated to provide rapidly growing plants with a proper balance of minerals, even when your water contains excess Calcium. - Test your water with a conductivity meter. If you find TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) levels above 200 ppm it is a good idea to obtain a water analysis in order to determine the Calcium content. - If you find Calcium above 70 ppm you should use "HardWater FloraMicro, |
 instead of our original FloraMicro. - If your water contains 30 to 50 ppm Calcium, you can blend our original FloraMicro with HardWater FloraMicro to create a perfect mix for your plants. This may seem too complicated, but it is really easy and effective. - We released "HardWater FloraMicro" in Europe a few years ago and our customers are very happy with the results. We are now pleased to offer "HardWater FloraMicro" in North America. |
